The Engineering Prototyping & FabricationDepartment (also known as the Bike Shop) helps Raytheon programssuccessfully demonstrate solutions to their engineering problems.Our engineers and technicians provide quick-turn innovation,design, fabrication, assembly, test, and demonstration services.Our vertically integrated team designs, fabricates, and testsmechanical, electrical, and software solutions. In a fast pacedhighly collaborative work environment our projects range from proofof concept to flight hardware demonstration. What You Will Do -Provide prototype machining in a developmental environment oftenwith quick turnaround prototype solutions for a variety of programsthroughout the enterprise. - Work with customers to solve medium tocomplex machining and assembly problems. - Work within acollaborative group across multiple disciplines addressingchallenges together to provide best result solutions to ourcustomers. Qualifications YouMust Have - Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-yearpost high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevantexperience. - Experience interpreting mechanical blueprints and/ortechnical drawings - Experience with manual machining equipment -An active transferable government security clearance, or theability to obtain and maintain an active and U.S. government issuedsecurity clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for asecurity clearance." Qualifications We Prefer - Experience inmechanical machine shop environment using CNC equipment -Experience with CNC including programming, setup, and operation onboth Mill and Lathe. (2) years programming 3 and 4 axis CNC millsand lathes. - Knowledgeable in the setup/operation of manual CMM’s.- Basic experience in the development and manipulation ofcomputer-generated 3D models in Creo, or similar CAD system. - CAMSoftware: Mastercam or equivalent - Competent computer skills –Windows, MS Office products. The salaryrange provided is a good faith estimate representative of allexperience levels.
