Soliant Schools is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers inGrant Park, ILto join our team of educators. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs. This position offers the flexibility of hourly employment under a W2 agreement, providing a rewarding opportunity for educators who value flexibility in their schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.

Qualifications:

• Appropriate state license & certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Interview Process:

• (10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Schools Recruiter
• (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
