In 1980, at the age of 16, Dave Cooper started a landscaping business under D.C. Landscaping, Inc. They provided all DuPage County, both residential and large businesses, with complete landscaping care and snow removal.In 1995, Dave purchased his first semi tractor and trailer with the vision of being able to expand his company into something more significant. By 2002, Dave was taking on the task of managing 38 semi tractors, 82 trailers, and 45 full-time employees. He was in charge of one of the largest sand, gravel, and topsoil hauling companies in the Chicagoland area, along with his growing landscaping and snow removal business.When 2005 came, Dave decided to sell his hauling company to build his landscape material supplying company. Landscape Material and Firewood Sales, Inc. currently operates and manufactures most of its materials on three sites, which consist of 18 acres.Landscape Material and Firewood Sales, Inc. provides its customers with premium mulch, gravel, soil, firewood, along with other products. We are conveniently located in West Chicago off of County Farm Road.
