Ms. Jo (Jo Kokri-Bhatt) was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC by Manoj & Raji Bhatt of India. For over 10 years, beginning at age 6, she studied classical piano under Carol Starnes of Converse Pre-College, then Dr. Barbara Lister-Sink of Salem Academy & the Eastman School, akin to Juilliard. She studied other instruments including voice and learned how to perform both solo and in groups of all kinds. Ms. Jo wins numerous music awards over time and continually deepens her knowledge and skills, thereby better serving others.
